Conor McGregor will be arrested?
The fighter was not sentenced to prison, as the police did not press charges against the fighter. At the end of the trial, which featured a jury of eight women and four men, McGregor was ordered to pay almost 250,000 euros (R$1.5 million) to the woman.
What did the woman say?
McGregor’s whistleblower read a statement during the trial, where she thanked her family, partner, friends and all the supporters who contacted her online, as well as a special message for her daughter.
– She has given me a lot of strength and courage over the last six years throughout this nightmare to continue moving forward for justice. I want to show her and all the other girls and boys that you can defend yourself if something happens to you, no matter who the person is, and justice will be served – said the woman, who continued.
– He (McGregor) let me go and I remember apologizing because I felt I did something wrong and I wanted to reassure him that I wouldn’t tell anyone so he wouldn’t hurt me again,” she said. The victim stated that she then let him do what he wanted and he had sex with her.
Conor McGregor is found guilty in civil court in Ireland in the case of abuse against Nikita Hand.
He should not face jail time because it is a civil case, not a criminal one.
