Bahia faces Vila Nova (GO) and Vitória takes on Fortaleza (CE) in the debut
The under-17 teams from the Ba-Vi duo will compete in the II Super Copa Capital next month, in Brasília (DF). The tournament starts on December 1st and continues until the 12th. Among the 24 clashes in the first phase, Bahia faces Vila Nova (GO) in the competition’s debut. Vitória will face Fortaleza the following day, December 2nd.
Next, Tricolor faces runner-up Candango Canaã, and Atlético-MG. Meanwhile, Leão faces Greval (DF) and Santos, champion of São Paulo and one of the four best clubs in the country in the category.
The games are distributed between the JK (Paranoá), Bezerrão (Gama) and Abadião (Ceilândia) Stadiums, in addition to the Physical Training Center of the Military Fire Department of the Federal District. Entry is free for fans.
Two teams from each group advance to the semifinals. In knockout duels, only one in each match goes to the big decision. “As promised last year, we doubled the number of participants. The next step is to make this tournament one of the biggest in Brazil in the under-17 category”, highlights the competition organizer, Godofredo Gonçalves.
