Bahia hosts Athletico this Sunday (11/24) for the 35th round of the Brazilian Championship. The match will be at 4pm (Brasília time), at Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador (BA).
The Squadron is on a bad run and has not won in six games in the Brasileirão – with five defeats and a draw in the period. In the last round, they lost to Palmeiras, at home, 2-1.
The sequence left the Bahian team in eighth place, with 46 points, one less than Cruzeiro, currently placed last for next year’s Libertadores.

Bahia lineup against Athletico
Coach Rogério Ceni will have the return of defender Kanu. The player was absent against Palmeiras due to suspension. Bahia managed to obtain a suspension effect so they could also use right-back Santiago Arias against Athletico.
Against Palmeiras, Rogério removed former starters from the team, such as goalkeeper Marcos Felipe and midfielder Cauly.
