The Flamengo team arrived in Acre on Saturday night (23), and was welcomed by governor Gladson Cameli, alongside his son, at Rio Branco International Airport.
In a historic moment for Acre football, the under-20 athletes are scheduled to play this Sunday (24) against Santa Cruz-AC, in a friendly match that marks the reopening of the Arena da Floresta.
According to Cameli, who is excited about the event, the match will be a great game that will mark the hearts of the entire population and fans of the teams.
“Mengão arrived in Acre and tomorrow we will have a big game at the reopening of Arena da Floresta. The team’s reception at the airport couldn’t be any different, the Acre fans know how to welcome someone. Who here is looking forward to this big match? I’m awesome!” said the governor.
The match between Flamengo and Santa Cruz-AC is scheduled to start at 5pm, but the gates will be open from 2pm. According to the Acre government, more than 13 thousand tickets were made available.
