MBL says it has more than 800 thousand chips to create a party

The Movimento Brasil Libre (MBL) announced this Saturday (23) that it had collected more than 800,000 forms from supporters to create a party, called Missão. The announcement was made during the organization’s 10th National Congress, which celebrates a decade of existence.

For the acronym to be effectively created, the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) requires at least 547,042 signatures, which must be validated by the body. In a post on its Instagram, Missão stated that more than 200 thousand were validated at the TSE and that it had “one form collected every 38 seconds” during the event.

The MBL’s goal is for the party to be officially registered with the Electoral Court by 2026, when it intends to participate in the presidential elections with its own candidate. During the event, according to information from Sheetthe leaders stated that they intend to hold caucuses within the future party, with former state deputy Arthur do Val and businessman Cristiano Beraldo as possible names.

MBL defends new Constitution

Federal deputy Kim Kataguiri (União), the MBL coordinator, Renan Santos, and also Beraldo spoke at the event. With an eye on 2026, they reinforced the need for revisions to laws and electoral processes.

According to the Poder360Santos even defended the writing of a new Constitution for the country. “We cannot live under the aegis of those old people from PMDB, from Arena”, stated the leader of the movement.

In a debate alongside councilor Amanda Vettorazo (União) and state deputy Guto Zacarias (União), Kataguiri reinforced the position of the future party and stated: “There is no solution for Brazil with the Constitution we have today, we cannot cut, change or change 92% of public funds.”

On its social networks, Missão already highlights some of its values, such as the “toughening of criminal laws”, “end of civil service privileges”, “war against drug trafficking” and the “industrialization of the northeast”.

The MBL congress brought together around three thousand people in São Paulo, with tickets costing up to R$3,496.92 – in this case, including an open bar and networking with MBL influencers. During the event, the first novel written by do Val, entitled Ravier com J.
