Missão, a party that is being created by the (Movimento Brasil Livre), reached the signature target it needs to be approved by , according to the group’s leaders.

According to the movement, 809,357 tokens have been collected so far. 547,042 are needed.

The MBL coordinator, Renan Santos, says that 200 thousand have already been validated in notary offices.

The forms are collected manually by the movement and are gradually sent for checking by the electoral body.

The expectation is to be able to create the party by, at the latest, October 2025, in time to contest the following year’s election.

At a movement convention held in the east zone, this Saturday (23), the leaders announced that they will not give up their own candidacy to run for President in 2026.

The idea is that there will be previews within the future party to decide the nominee. At the event, it was announced that the former state deputy (now in ) and the businessman and commentator for the Jovem Pan network Cristiano Beraldo should compete for the position.

Arthur do Val, known as Mamãe Falei, was impeached in the São Paulo Assembly in 2022 for sexist speech about Ukrainian refugees.

“There will be no Milton Leite, União Brasil that will make us give up. We will not support any other candidate. This is a political decision,” said Renan.

Still at the event, Renan stated that the party will defend a new Constitution for the country.

“We cannot live under the aegis of those old people from PMDB, from Arena”, he stated, who then cursed labor laws.

Earlier, the federal deputy (currently at União Brasil) had already defended the change in the Constitution.

The statement was made during a debate in which he participated alongside elected councilor Amanda Vettorazzo and state deputy Guto Zacarias, all from União Brasil.

“There is no solution for Brazil with the Constitution we have today, it is not possible to cut, change or change 92% of public funding,” he stated.

The deputy also defended the change in electoral rules so that all candidates have the right to TV time and participate in debates.

During the speech, Kim Kataguiri also spoke about plans to become a senator in the future and work towards becoming president of the Chamber of Deputies for the Mission.

In a certain part of the event, accounts were given to the movement’s donors and the objectives for the next year were presented.

One of the strategies that will be adopted to grow MBL and Missão will be to monetize cuts in social networks, a tactic popularized by the defeated candidate for mayor (PRTB).

Furthermore, the MBL announced the creation of a book publisher, responsible for producing a party magazine.

Around 3,000 people attended the event. Tickets were sold from R$396, and the VIP, R$1,197. The second option included an open bar.

During the debates, activists were instructed to sign up to the “MBL Academy” and buy and consume the books produced by the movement.

“There is only one source of knowledge so that you have the confidence to defend the group you chose”, said coordinator Jota Júnior.
