The Spanish Navy has taken another step in its monitoring operations and several Spanish frigates have gone after several Russian vessels sailing through Spanish waters.

The patrolman Look-out has monitored the route that the Russian corvette has taken Mercury from the Alboran Sea to the Strait of Gibraltar. A monitoring that is part of the framework of the Presence, Surveillance and Deterrence (OPVD) operations of the Spanish Navy.
