Portugal fell asleep in unusual heat and woke up to a gale

The Bert Depression is bringing a lot of rain and strong winds to regions of the country – mainly in the North and Center – where, interestingly, this Saturday night “peak summer” temperatures were recorded.

The bad weather that arrived with is already causing havoc in Portugal.

Portugal lay in unusual heat

On Saturday night and despite the storm that was already approaching the following morning, Portugal went to sleep with unusual heat for the time.

As the meteorologist noticed Márcio Santosat 10:20 pm, they were 22ºC in Viana do Castelo, 21ºC in Porto, 21ºC in Aveiro and 20ºC in Coimbra – all regions affected by the Bert Depression.
