The People’s Party (ÖVP) took second place.
The far-right Austrian People’s Party (FPÖ) won Sunday’s parliamentary elections in the federal state of Styria. The People’s Party (ÖVP) finished in second place, the Social Democrats (SPÖ) came third. The Greens and the liberal party NEOS still got into the parliament. This follows from the forecast of the Foresight Institute for the APA agency and the ORF television station, published shortly after the polls closed at 4:00 p.m. CET.
