The simplest recipe for croissants made of puff pastry. The filling is a children's favorite delicacy

Delicate French croissants with chocolate it is a unique but very time-consuming delicacy. For self-preparation a sheet of puff pastry, you have to put in many hours. Of course, this is not all time you will spend in the kitchen. However, the dough requires rolling multiple times at approximately two-hour intervals, which means that preparations should start at least 24 hours before baking. An alternative is to buy ready-made dough, which is not inferior to homemade dough, as long as you choose a good quality product. You can bake 12 croissants from a large sheet. And you can use your favorites to prepare them Kinder chocolates. Such Kinderki croissants are the perfect dessert for busy people and for those who simply want to quickly create a sweet snack using ingredients available at home.

The filling for this delicious dessert is popular Kinder chocolates. However, nothing stops you from using it any chocolatethat you have at home. For lovers of very sweet flavors, we recommend milk or white chocolate, but if you don’t like too much sweetness, you can use dark chocolate. Just break it into smaller strips.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • a sheet of XXL puff pastry (375 g),
  • a pack of Kinder chocolates (150 g, 12 pieces),
  • 1 egg.

Place a sheet of puff pastry on the pastry board. It should measure approximately 50×25 cm. Cut the dough into 6 rectangles with the longer side measuring 25 cm and the shorter side measuring approximately 8 cm. Cut each rectangle diagonally. You will get 12 identical triangles.

Unwrap the chocolates. Cut each one in half lengthwise with a sharp knife. One by one, wrap the chocolates in the dough. Place one of the halves on the short edge of the triangle. Wrap the chocolate in dough and immediately add the other half. Roll the entire triangle of dough into a roll (so that the tip of the triangle is in the middle of the roll).

Place the kinder croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the top with beaten egg. Place in the oven preheated to 200°C. Bake for about 18-20 minutes.
