Ukraine: New strike with Oreshnik super weapon in the next 24 hours - Putin's order is expected

Tensions are escalating – Western, with Moscow on track for a new strike against Ukraine, with , possibly within the next 24 hours according to reports citing Russian leaks.

In a video released after his statement on the missile test, President Vladimir Putin called his statement on the tests of the Oreshnik missile system clear and understandable.

“It seems to me that it is quite clear and understandable,” he said, closing his speech and leaving.

“Warning: Possible launch of IRBM “Oreshnik” within the next 24 hours, after several long-range attacks by NATO against Russia!! The missile has been deployed and the Russian military is awaiting orders from Putin to launch!”

At the same time, the Kremlin insists that Russia’s updated nuclear doctrine is a message to the West, blaming the dangerous escalation on the outgoing US administration of Joe Biden, accusing it of making reckless decisions.

On November 19, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree approving the updated nuclear doctrine, Basic Principles of State Policy of the Russian Federation on Nuclear Deterrence. The basic principle of the document is that nuclear weapons are a last resort to ensure the country’s sovereignty.

Specifically, the document broadens the scope of countries and alliances subject to nuclear deterrence. The list of military threats against which nuclear deterrence can be used has also been revised. Aggression by any non-nuclear state, with the participation or support of a nuclear state, would be treated as a joint attack on Russia.
