Even with this, goalkeeper Weverton, from Palmeiras, asked for patience and stated that the championship is not over yet.
“It was very important to win today, to leave here with three points. We know we’ve been chasing the entire championship, getting the three points today was essential, regardless of the team’s result. Tuesday will be a big game, the championship doesn’t end today, and Tuesday is a big decision”, he said.
