FIFA announces agreement with AB InBev 2025 Club World Cup

Company will be the “Official Beer Partner” of the tournament, which will have a new format next year

FIFA this Monday (25.Nov.2024), a new sponsorship for the Club World Cup with , a beer producing company. With the agreement, the company will be the official beer partner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The 2025 tournament will take place from June 15th to July 13th in the United States and will bring together 32 football clubs. AB InBev, through brands such as Budweiser and Michelob ULTRA, will support the event and promote activations inside and outside the stadiums.

The company plans to expand its presence at the tournament with its portfolio of leading brands, including Budweiser, Michelob ULTRA and local brands in select markets.

“AB InBev has been an iconic sponsor of our events for almost 40 years, and today we are excited to see them come on board as a partner of the new FIFA Club World Cup. We are embarking on a journey that will redefine club football and create a new global tournament. With AB InBev brands, we are creating unforgettable moments for football fans around the world.”said Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA.

The event will be hosted in 12 stadiums in 11 US cities. The sponsorship will include assets such as the “Player of the Match Award”, rewarding the best players in the match.

South American clubs classified

The South American clubs classified include Palmeiras, winner of the 2021 Libertadores; Flamengo, Libertadores 2022 champion; and Fluminense, champion of Libertadores 2023. Also guaranteed a place, through the Conmebol ranking, the Argentines River Plate and Boca Juniors.
