Later, you had to do well at a camp or school in nature under the pressure of teachers who would otherwise deduct points from you. Even now as an adult, making the bed is not any easier, because you either do it as fast as you can to avoid being late for work, or you simply don’t make the bed at all. But there is a trick shared by a professional maid that will help you have a perfectly made bed in no time.

How to make a bed quickly
Before you can actually start making the bed, there is some preparation required. Be the first to remove anything that might be in your way from the bed. Remove all pillows, blankets, stuffed animals and other items. It is important that your bed is a clean work surface.
Then you can get down to the actual finishing. The key to success is knowing the basic technique of tensioning and aligning the bed sheet. Place the bed sheet on the mattress so that its corners properly cover the corners of the mattress.
Afterwards, pull the bed sheet firmly under the mattress and spread it so that it is evenly stretched and there are no bumps anywhere. After stretching, you can proceed to placing the duvet on the bed. Align the top of the duvet cover with the top edge of the mattress.
Then adjust it so that it is spread evenly across the entire mattress. You don’t have to fold it in any way, it’s enough if it’s just laid evenly. And you’re done. Afterwards, you can just neatly stack the pillows on top.
Why is making the bed important?
Don’t worry, there’s no moralistic paragraph waiting for you about making your bed so you don’t look like a dork before your visit. Making the bed has a psychological advantage. When you wake up in the morning, you have a challenging day ahead of you, in which everything may not turn out according to your expectations.
When you make your bed first thing in the morning, you’ll feel good about having done something right at the start of the day, and that you can successfully cross off one requirement for the day. As a result, you will be in a better mood throughout the day and return to a well-made bed in the evening.
