Youtuber praised the player, but said that, off the field, the attacker would have ‘questionable’ behavior

Neymar did not like the criticism made about him by influencer Fred Bruno, former presenter of the Desimpedidos channel, during his participation in a podcast. During an interview with comedian Antonio Tabet in September, the former Big Brother Brasil participant said that he saw number 10 as the best player in the country, but criticized the decisions made by the athlete in his private life.
“I admire Neymar a lot on the field, but off it, he has questionable choices. He has questionable positions and non-positions”, said Fred.
“Come World Cup time, it’s not just those who follow football who support it. There are people who support Neymar. He is our best player, he broke all records, but he has choices in his life, off the field, which are bad”, added the YouTuber.
Although the interview was done in September, the video recently went viral on social media. In the comments of an Instagram page dedicated to football, Neymar reacted. “That one is a braggart,” he posted, using a laughing emoji.
Fred Bruno spent almost ten years on the Desempedidos channel. In 2023, he participated in Big Brother Brasil. And, in August of this year, he was hired by Globo to join the broadcaster’s sports team.
