Putin signs with another friendly country the creation of a North Korean-style army

Vladimir Putin’s objective of prolonging the war in Ukraine until he achieves his goals seems to not only concern his country, but many other allies – or at least, related to the Putin regime-, they are also playing a decisive role in the course of events in the conflict.

According to international media reports, and after more than two years of intense fighting on the Ukrainian front, hundreds of thousands dead -it is estimated that there will be about 750,000 deaths on the Russian side-, there are several countries that are providing military aid to Moscow, and in many cases, contributing large numbers of soldiers.

The last country that would have joined the list of nations collaborating with Russia would be Yemen. According to the medium Newsweek, “Hundreds” of Yemeni fighters would be in Russia ready to go to the frontin exchange for a high salary for each of them and for them to be granted Russian nationality.

As reported by the Financial Times, these “were forcibly recruited into the Moscow army and sent to the front in Ukraine”a task made possible by Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

Despite this collaboration, the level of involvement and closeness between Russia and the Houthis is unknown, but it is clear that this move on Moscow’s part responds to the fact of, once again, allying itself with one of the great international enemies of the United States. as it has already done during these years with China, North Korea or Iran, among others.

Furthermore, before the arrival of the Yemenis to Russia, the CNN also notified the entry into the Eurasian country of several thousand Syrian fighters and as manys – an estimated 15,000 – Nepalis, in exchange for juicy salaries and obtaining Russian nationality.
