Samos – At least eight migrants have died in a ship accident north of the Greek island of Samos. As the daily newspaper “Kathimerini” reported, citing the coast guard, there are six minors and two women. A total of around 50 people are said to have been on board. 36 people were able to escape to the island’s shore, and the coast guard is using boats to search for other passengers. There were strong winds in the region at the time of the accident.
