Don't eat this on an empty stomach. You will feel bad all day long

When preparing breakfast, we sometimes choose products that should not be eaten on an empty stomach. Many of them seem to be a good option, but it is better to leave them for lunch or dinner. What products are we talking about?

We also recommend:

Most of us reach for a cup of coffee in the morning. This is a big mistake. Drinking it on an empty stomach may lead to hyperacidity or indigestion. Strong black coffee causes the biggest problems. The addition of milk does not mean that it should be drunk on an empty stomach. However, you can prepare this drink in the morning and drink it if you have breakfast, e.g. scrambled eggs. Nevertheless, grain coffee will be a safer choice.

The next drink is tea — we shouldn’t drink it on an empty stomach either. Why? Because it contains a lot of caffeine. Decaffeinated tea blends will be a better option. It is also worth avoiding carbonated drinks. In the morning, an empty stomach contains a lot of stomach acid combined with carbonated drinks may cause severe abdominal pain and cramps.

In addition, selected drinks, e.g. juices, should be warm or at room temperature. Cold, refreshing drinks are not the best choice, even in summer. Heavily chilled proposals may damage the gastric mucosa and thus slow down the digestion processes, i.e. metabolism.

Mainly deep-fried foods. These types of dishes are difficult to digest and may cause stomach problems, especially if eaten on an empty stomach. It is also better to avoid spicy, strongly spiced breakfasts. A large number of crossings may cause irritation of the stomach lining.

Importantly, raw and citrus fruits are also not the best choice. These are healthy options, but if eaten on an empty stomach, they may increase the secretion of gastric juices, causing reflux and pain. Any highly processed sweets, e.g. donuts, are not necessarily a good choice. A large amount of carbohydrates can cause blood glucose levels to rise quickly, which is unhealthy for the body. Moreover, if we react badly to lactic acid, it is better to avoid yogurt in the morning.

Breakfasts should be, above all, easily digestible and filling, rich in fiber and omega-3 acids. This may be, for example, scrambled eggs (not fried in large amounts of fat), sandwiches made of whole grain bread or oatmeal.
