In an interview she gave, she mentioned that she suffers from multiple sclerosis, with which she was diagnosed several years ago, and stated that she is now “in the best shape of her life”.
The former basketball player made statements to the “Happy Day” camera at an official event.
“I’m very well, thank God I’m very well with my health, because I had – as you all know – multiple sclerosis in 2011 as you know. I had quite a few bad days at first, especially until the diagnosis. The first 3-4 years were difficult, I was in and out of the hospital. My treatment, my treatment went very well and I think that in the last 7-8 years I am in the best condition of my life”.
