The United States government has been cautious in the face of information that has appeared in recent days regarding a possible Ukrainian attack which would have supposedly killed 500 North Korean soldiers.
According to the Pentagon, this information has not been able to be verified by US intelligence, as reported by the Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh during a briefing in Washington.
Speculation surrounding the possibility of the death of those five hundred North Koreans were shot on November 23when the portal Global Defense Corp he made it public.
Despite this, Washington assures that the only information they have regarding the hundreds of North Korean soldiers deployed in Russia, is that they are located in the Kursk province, and thus deny having any evidence that they have moved to Ukrainian soil.
According to what was communicated by the spokesperson, they assure that they cannot “independently confirm the casualties of North Korean soldiers. What we have said before is that they are in that region and who, without a doubt, are prepared to face the Ukrainians in combat.”
