One of the main street races in South America, the 23rd edition of the Rio 2025 Marathon is now open for registration. The race takes place between the 18th and 22nd of June in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, with races ranging from 5 to 42km.
This Tuesday (26/11), the sale of the exclusive lot for Itaú Uniclass customers began, with a 20% discount, for marathon (42km) and half marathon (21k). The general public will be able to register from this Thursday (28), at 12pm.
Registration for the 5km and 10km races opens in December.

For the 5km category the minimum age is 14 years old, 10km category is 16 years old and the remaining 18 years old.

- Marathon: June 22, 2025, at a distance of 42.195m, with start and finish at Av. Infante Dom Henrique at Aterro do Flamengo, in waves from 5am.
- Half marathon: June 21, 2025, over a distance of 21,097.5m, starting in the Leblon neighborhood, in waves, from 6:00 am, and arriving at A. Infante Dom Henrique at Aterro do Flamengo.
- 10K: June 20th, 2025, at a distance of 10,000m, with start and finish at Av. Infante Dom Henrique at Aterro do Flamengo, in waves from 7am.
- 5K: June 19, 2025, over a distance of 5,000m, with start and finish at Av. Infante Dom Henrique at Aterro do Flamengo, in waves from 4pm.
