Dreaming of the Libertadores, Tricolor needs to win on Sunday
São Paulo began preparations to face Grêmio, in the 36th round of the Brazilian Championship, with intensive training this Tuesday (26) at CT da Barra Funda. Fighting for a direct place in the next Libertadores da América, Tricolor depends on either Botafogo’s title, on Saturday (30), or staying ahead of Internacional or Fortaleza in the Brazilian Championship table. To do this, in addition to the stumbles of the clubs that are ahead, São Paulo needs to win the last three clashes ahead.
With the full squad, the physical trainers proposed a mobility and activation circuit, followed by technical fundamental exercises. Then, the group was divided between the players with the most minutes on the field in the game against Atlético-MG, who carried out ball possession training with movements, and the others, who participated in games in a reduced space.
São Paulo returns to training on Wednesday (27), at CT da Barra Funda, to continue preparing for the clash against Grêmio. The match takes place on Sunday, the 1st, at 4pm, at Arena do Grêmio, in Porto Alegre.
