In Tuesday’s accident on Vajnorská Street in Bratislava, one person was injured and taken to one of Bratislava’s hospitals. The Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) reported about it on the social network.
“This afternoon, a traffic accident involving a passenger car was reported on Vajnorská street in Bratislava. It was an electric car that started to smoke after hitting a pole and subsequently caught fire. Firefighters managed to prevent the blaze. Subsequently, the battery of the electric car was disconnected,” explained the firemen.
In cooperation with the police, the vehicle was transported from the scene to a guarded area, where it will be placed in a HaZZ container intended for storing electric cars after a fire.
