“A bloody murder in the shadows” – says Bastian, a journalist played by Maciej Musiał in the series “Śleboda”, and in a sense this is the answer to the question what the latest series is about. However, it is not that simple, because, as is usually the case in crime stories, in addition to the main plot, there are also side plots that influence what is happening on the screen.

“Śleboda”, as we wrote above, is a crime series based on the first part of the novel by Małgorzata Fugiel-Kuźmińska and Michał Kuźmiński. The six-episode production tells the story of a young anthropologist from Krakow – Anka Serafin (played by Maria Dębska), who comes to Podhale in search of herself. Instead of peace, he finds corpses in the mountains. She quickly becomes involved in solving a murder mystery, and her fate is inextricably intertwined with Bastian Strzygoń (Maciej Musiał), a cynical journalist looking for sensation, and Jędrek Chowaniec (Piotr Pacek), a local policeman with whom they had a crush as teenagers. The photos were shot in Podhale, so not only fans of crime stories, but also those who love mountains will find something for themselves.
Śleboda. Cast and premiere
“Śleboda” is the first production commissioned by SkyShowtime in Poland. Michał Gazda and Bartosz Blaschke are responsible for directing. The author of the photos is Tomasz Augustynek. Karolina Frankowska and Katarzyna Golenia are responsible for the script. The producer of the series is Magdalena Szwedkowicz. The main roles will be played by Maria Dębska, Maciej Musiał and Piotr Pack. The remaining roles were played by Joanna Balasz, Andrzej Chyra, Kuba Dyniewicz, Helena Englert, Jan Englert, Tomasz Karolak, Artur Krajewski, Mateusz Janicki, Mateusz Kmiecik, Magdalena Lamparska, Leszek Lichota, Anna Nehrebecka, Józef Pawłowski and Andrzej Zieliński.
