One bus caught fire after technical failures and hit a power pole on Avenida Senador Teotônio Vilela, in Cidade Dutra, in the south zone of the capital of São Paulo. The case occurred this Monday (25).
According to the driver, the vehicle presented technical faults that shut down the engine. The handbrake was applied and passengers were disembarked moments before the fire started.
In the images you can see that the bus lost control and went down the street in flamestwo cars were also hit.
The video shows that the situation caused confusion in traffic and among people passing by. There were no records of victims.
The Fire Department was called and extinguished the fire. The incident was registered at the 11th Police District (Santo Amaro) and an investigation will be carried out to investigate the causes of the accident.
