Report states that cell phone locations of those involved, dates and meeting locations indicate that the former president was aware of the assassination plan
PF investigations (Federal Police) indicate that the former president (PL) knew of the plan to kill President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), vice Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) and the minister of (Supremo Tribunal Federal) . The objective was to prevent the elected government from taking office.
Regarding the attempted coup d’état in 2022, the corporation states that the location of the cell phones of those involved, dates and meeting places indicate that the former president was aware of the assassination plan.
According to PF investigations, those involved devised a plan that aimed to assassinate the STF minister, as well as the newly elected candidate. The document with the details of the plan, called “Yellow Green Dagger”was prepared and printed on November 9, 2022, at Palácio do Planalto. The author would be Mario Fernandes, then executive secretary of the General Secretariat of the Presidency.
“The document describes the survey of Minister Alexandre de Moraes’ security structure, the means that should be used and the final action of arrest/execution of the minister. The planning also establishes the possibility, among the actions of the “Black Kids”, of assassinating the then-elected president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, by poisoning or using chemicals, and the then-elected vice-president Geraldo Alckimin, with the purpose of extinguishing the presidential ticket”says an excerpt from the report, which was confidential this Tuesday (Nov 26, 2024) by Minister Alexandre de Moraes.
The PF states that, shortly after drawing up the plan, Mario Fernandes went to Alvorada, where Bolsonaro and the former president’s aide-de-camp, Mauro Cid, were present.
The plan would have been presented to General Braga Netto, Bolsonaro’s former Defense Minister, in a meeting on November 12, at his official residence.
On December 6th, Mario Fernandes printed the file again on Planalto Palace. Used the same printer located in the office General Secretariat.
A investigation shows that on the same day, the telephone sets of Mauro Cid and Rafael Martins de Oliveira – a soldier involved in the coup attempt – were connected to telephone towers covering the Palácio do Planalto. Bolsonaro would also be there.
WHAT BOLSONARO SAYS
The former president denied having knowledge of the scheme to kill Lula or the attempted coup. Said he always acted “within the 4 lines of the Constitution” and that, in them, “there is no death penalty”in reference to the murder of the PT member.

The Federal Police concluded that groups were grouped to disseminate the narrative of fraud in the 2022 presidential elections, even before they took place. The purpose would be to legitimize a intervention by the Armed Forces.
