Carrefour Brasil stated this Tuesday that planning for deliveries of beef products to its stores in the country has been resumed and that it expects supply to be normalized in the coming days.
“The delivery schedule for beef products has been resumed and the company expects the normalization of the replenishment of such products over the next few days”, stated the largest supermarket chain in Brazil in a relevant fact.
The communication occurred after an exchange of messages between the group’s senior management and the Brazilian government following a controversy that began last week due to comments made by Carrefour’s executive president, Alexandre Bompard, on social media.
