Hotline Denúncia released a wanted poster for José Marcos Chaves Ribeiro, 53 years old, accused of keeping socialite Regina Lemos Gonçalves in private prison in Rio de Janeiro.
The 88-year-old former Regina driver is on the run after a police operation this Tuesday morning (26). The Civil Police carried out search and seizure warrants and was not found.

A investigation was started in November 2023 by the 12th DP (Copacabana), after accessing several statements, reports and service bulletins that revealed details of the period that Regina lived with José Marcos in his apartment in Chopin.
In addition to the charge of false imprisonment, the former driver also faces a charge of attempted femicidebased on a hospitalization that took place on December 30, 2021, when Regina was taken to the hospital with a head injury.
At the time, no family members were informed of what happened. She was discharged in January 2022 after an operation.
Against José Marcos there is also a protective measure that prohibits approaching the former driver and others investigated from the victim, and must maintain a distance of at least 500 meters and without any type of contact.
