Every owner of a Spathiphyllum dreams of large, intensely green, shiny leaves and beautiful, white inflorescences. It turns out that this houseplant can bloom all the time if we start fertilizing it. Bran rich in nutrients comes to the rescue.
To put out white flowers, first of all, we must provide him with appropriate conditions. So how to care for this plant?
We plant this specimen in permeable and fertile soil. Instead, we put it up in a bright room with diffused lightalthough it will also do well in partial shade. The optimal temperature for this plant is 18-22 degrees Celsius. During the heating season, do not place it near radiators.
Let’s take care of adequate hydration of the Spathiphyllum. Water it when the soil is completely dry. Its leaves turn yellow and brown due to lack of water. Overwatering, in turn, leads to the formation of mold and the appearance of pests and fungal diseases.
The plant likes moist air, so we recommend sprinkling its leavesespecially during the heating season. We can also place an air humidifier near it.
