Bahia’s performance in the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship has left the Tricolors frustrated. After a good first round, the Squadron dropped in performance and hasn’t won in seven matches. During the period, the club recorded five defeats and two draws, putting the fight for a place in the Copa Libertadores at risk. But it is not just the Esquadrão that is going through a bad phase among the teams managed by Grupo City.

Manchester City – The main club of the conglomerate, Manchester City is going through a frightening and unprecedented phase since Spanish Pep Guardiola took over as coach. The team has not won in six games between the English Championship, the Champions League and the Carabao Cup. There have been five defeats in a row. The sequence included 4×1 defeats against Sporting, in the Champions League, and 4×0 against Tottenham, in the Premier League. This Tuesday (26), City came to a 3-0 lead over Feyenoord, in the Champions League, but drew at home and extended the negative sequence.

Shenzhen Peng City – Fought against relegation in the Chinese Championship, was only 13th among 16 clubs. Permanence was guaranteed in the last round. During the competition, the team went through long streaks without winning, the two longest being nine games (six losses and three draws) and five games (three losses and two draws).
Mumbai City – Mumbai was another team that didn’t start well in the Indian Championship. So far, the club has won only two of the eight games it has played (two defeats and six draws). It is currently 10th place among 13 clubs.

Palermo – Palermo also competes in the Italian second division. The team is in 9th place, with just four wins in 14 games, and is going through a sequence of four matches without winning (four draws and one defeat)
HALF TERM
Yokohama Marinos – Traditional Japanese club, Yokohama Marinos comes from a sequence of four games without losing (three wins and a draw), but is not experiencing its best moment in the national championship, it is only in 9th place, with two games left to the end of the competition. The team was champion of the Japanese League in 2019 and 2022.
New York City – New York City is another team that had a campaign considered lukewarm in MLS. The team finished the Eastern Conference qualifying phase in 6th place, but was eliminated in the semifinals by New York Red Bull.
Girona – Surprise in the Spanish Championship last season, Girona is having a more modest campaign in the current edition of La Liga. The team won the last two games and is in 7th place, with 21 points in 14 matches. In the Champions League, the club still struggles. They won just one of the four games and lost the other three. It currently occupies 29th place.

Lommel SK – They are 5th in the Belgian second division, within the classification zone, with 19 points in 12 games. After two consecutive victories, the team comes from a draw and a 5-1 defeat to La Louvière.
ON THE RISE
Melbourne City – Representative of the City Group in Australia, Melbourne City is having a good campaign in the local league. They won three of their first five games and occupy 3rd place. The team also reached the final of the Australian Cup, but lost the title in a single game against Macarthur FC.
Montevideo Torque – After suffering relegation to the second division last year, Montevideo City Torque returned to the first division of the Uruguayan Championship. Torque was third in the regular phase and won the Playoff against Uruguay Montevideo.

Bolívar – City’s partner club, Bolívar is going through a great phase in the Bolivian Championship. With five games to go, the team leads the competition in isolation with a nine-point difference over second-placed The Strongest. This year, Bolívar did well in the Libertadores. He was leader in the group that had Flamengo and fell in the round of 16 to the red-black team.
