LUISA MONTE – How much does a dog house cost? It depends. If it’s made of leather and has the Louis Vuitton monogram, it costs R$340,000. This is the price that the French brand charges for the “property”, one of the items in the “Louis Vuitton Canine Collection”.

The collection has dog houses lined with leather and the brand’s classic logo, golden hardware, double handles and S-shaped clasp. Called “Kennel Trunk”, they are valued at US$60,000 (around R$340,000). They will only be available in mid-March 2025, when spring arrives in the northern hemisphere.

The houses can receive personalized printing and painting services in stores. But as luxury is not everything, the designers also ensured the product’s functionality in relation to cleaning, such as a removable door and bottom.

The collection is designed by Pharrell Williamns, creative director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s department since last year. Collars, feeders and accessories for dogs and cats were also launched.
