Authorities and experts will address the impacts of tax reform on the country’s competitiveness; watch the broadcast
The senators (PL-DF) e (Republicanos-RR), in addition to the federal deputy (PT-MG), participate in the seminar “Tax reform and the competitiveness of the oil and gas sector”, held this Wednesday (27.Nov.2024), in Brasília (DF).
Also confirmed: do Roberto Ardenghy; the president of the Board of Directors of ABD (Brazilian Association of Downstream), Marcelo Araújo; and the national Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Pietro Mendes.
The event is organized by IBP, with support from Poder360. The meeting will be on the digital newspaper’s YouTube channel, starting at 8:30 am.

At the meeting, the effects of tax reform on the exploration, production, transformation and distribution of oil and natural gas in Brazil will be discussed. Authorities and experts will also address how regulation impacts investments, legal security and the competitiveness of the sector in the country.
The seminar will have 2 panels. During the 1st, the research of the Marcio Lago Couto, will present the study “Analysis of the competitiveness of the Brazilian tax system for the E&P (exploration and production) sector in comparison to other competing geographies”.
