The sinking of the tourist ship Sea Story in Egypt, on which a Slovak family of three was, unfortunately has a tragic end. Although according to the initial information the whole family survived, today came the devastating information that the 48-year-old father did not survive the accident. The editors have now brought the details of what was supposed to happen on the ship.
Father Michal had to pull his wife Eva and their 16-year-old son out of the sinking ship. After saving his loved ones, the 48-year-old man wanted to save other tourists from the boat, but he did not emerge again.
The news of his death was also confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MZVEZ) of the Slovak Republic. “Unfortunately, in the case of the third Slovak citizen who was on board the ship, the Egyptian authorities officially confirmed his death today and sent our embassy a notification of his death. We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved, family and relatives. In these difficult moments, our embassy will provide the necessary assistance and cooperation,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
