Smartphone can become an e-card reader

The smartphone can now be used as an e-card reader via the “My SV app” (in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store). This means that every insured person has the opportunity to allow their doctor to access the electronic health record (ELGA) with e-authorization. This makes home visits, visits to nursing and retirement homes, telemedical treatment or issuing prescriptions much easier, it was said on Wednesday at a joint press conference by the umbrella association of social insurance companies and the medical association.
