Stabbing in Linz City: 18 years in prison for attempted murder

Linz – A 22-year-old who is said to have critically injured an unknown reveler by stabbing him in the stomach in downtown Linz on the night of May 1st was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Wednesday for attempted murder. The defendant pleaded not guilty and claimed that he had committed the stab in self-defense. The Linz regional court’s ruling is not legally binding.
