After the draw against Botafogo last weekend, Vitória returned this Tuesday (26) for the clash against Fortaleza. Substituted during the second half of the last game, midfielder Matheuzinho was handed over to the medical department for treatment of the trauma he suffered to his knee.
Although there is still no estimate of when the athlete will be available to train again, Leão views the player’s presence in the next match with optimism. Valid for the 36th round of the Brazilian Championship, the game against the rival from Ceará will take place next Sunday (1st), starting at 6:30 pm.
Midfielder Caio Vinícius began the third phase of the transition. The player worked with the group in a controlled manner. At the end of the activities, there was a supplement under the command of the club’s physical trainer.
The presentation of the red and black cast at the Manoel Pontes Tanajura training center took place at 3pm. The Leão players did muscle pre-activation in the gym and then warmed up with physical exercises.
