Comenius University in Bratislava also received a threatening e-mail. Rector Marek Števček therefore granted the students preventive rector’s leave on Thursday and ordered the rapid evacuation of all university buildings. He informs about it on the social network.
“Although the threat was unclear, the rector granted the rector’s leave as a precaution and asks all students and staff to leave faculty premises and go home. There will be no classes on Thursday.” the university said on the social network. The instruction is valid from 12:00 p.m. until the end of the working day.
The Slovak University of Technology also received an e-mail threatening an armed attack on Thursday in Bratislava. Due to the reported terrorist threat, the premises are being evacuated and checked.
