This Saturday (11/30) Botafogo faces one of the greatest moments in its history. At 5pm (Brasília time), they will face Atlético-MG in the grand final of the Libertadores da América. The search for the unprecedented title will be at the Monumental de Núñez stadium, in Buenos Aires – after eliminating Peñarol in the semifinals.
The team coached by Artur Jorge goes to the field encouraged by the great 3-1 victory over Palmeiras at Allianz Parque, a result that returned Botafogo to the leadership of the Brazilian Championship. Before, the team had gone three games without winning, experiencing brief instability.

Botafogo lineup against Atlético-MG
Botafogo’s biggest concern is defender Bastos. The Angolan was injured in the game against Palmeiras and could be absent in the final. He traveled with the squad and will be re-evaluated. If he can’t play, Adryelson comes in.
Furthermore, Botafogo will have the basis of the lineup that took the team to the top of the Brasileirão and the final of the Libertadores, with the strong offensive quartet armed with Savarino, Thiago Almada, Luiz Henrique and Igor Jesus. Coach Artur Jorge should not present any surprises.
Botafogo lineup: John, Vitinho, Adryelson, Alexander Barboza and Alex Telles; Gregore and Marlon Freitas; Savarino, Thiago Almada and Luiz Henrique; Igor Jesus. Technical: Arthur Jorge.
