Ceremony for the 2nd Government Journalism Award takes place this Thursday

This Thursday (27th) the Val Sales Journalism Award ceremony, from the State Government, will be held at Afa Jardim, starting at 7pm.

The award is in its second edition. The competition will award a total of R$107 thousand in prizes, with R$15 thousand for the first placed in the Text, Audio, Television Journalism, Web Video and Photo categories. The runners-up will receive a prize worth R$5,000. In the Student category, the prize for the first best judge will be R$5,000 and R$2,000 for the second place winner.

Categories

The modalities of the 2nd Communication Award from the Government of the State of Acre are:

– Text: articles published by professionals in printed vehicles (newspapers and magazines) based in Acre, as well as on portals, news sites or digital media;

– Audio: journalistic content broadcast by professionals on radio stations based in Acre or podcasts produced in Acre and published on streaming or digital platforms;

– Telejournalism: journalistic content broadcast by professionals on television channels based in Acre;

– Web video: videos produced in Acre and published on journalism channels on digital platforms;

– Photo: photos published by professionals in printed media (newspapers, magazines or others) or online (blogs, websites, portals);

– Student: awarded to the best report, produced in text, audio or video, by an academic in the journalistic field or related areas, published in a printed newspaper or digital portals based in Acre, observing the technical peculiarities appropriate to each medium and communication channel .

The event will be attended by several authorities, including secretaries and Governor Gladson Cameli.
