The first edition of is underway, and the reinstatement of candidates who did not correctly fill out the test answer sheets continues to generate controversy!
The federal judge of the Federal Regional Court of the 2nd Region, William Douglas, published an article in the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, in which he criticized the carried out by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI).
The judge states that, for an efficient and prepared public service, it is necessary, among others, that the selection values merit and competence.
“A public servant must pay attention to details and respect standards, characteristics that cannot be neglected at the beginning of their journey. An agreement signed between the MPF, the Union (Ministry of Management and General Advocacy) and Cesgranrio was reported that allows the approval of candidates who failed to comply with a basic rule of public examinations: the correct completion of the answer card”, stated William Douglas.
It is worth remembering that, as a result of the agreement, 32,260 new candidates now have their discursive tests or essays corrected. However, of this total, with 4,325 people who did not fill in the type of test on the answer card or write the security phrase.
The remaining 27,935 candidates compete for vacancies for black people, fitting into the measure that promotes the expansion of the number of corrections for black quota holders, equating it with the broad competition, in accordance with .
According to the judge, the agreement weakens the selection system and demoralizes the entire structure of the State.
“The path to efficiency and respect involves valuing rules and individual effort. It is necessary to preserve legal certainty and the principles that support public service. It doesn’t help at all to change the rules in the middle of the game and, even with good intentions, to find a “way” to “save” inattentive candidates. This is misplaced “kindness!”, said William.
On the other hand, William Douglas also reinforced that the CNU is a positive project, which allows the government to hire new employees for different careers and bodies in a single competition. This results in cost savings for the Union and also for the candidates.
As a result, the judge states that the reinstatement of previously eliminated candidates also has a significant financial and logistical impact, given that the competition schedule needed to be changed.
William concludes by stating that what is expected is that the agreement “will be reviewed as soon as possible so that confidence in competitions is not lost and so that the search for excellence and efficiency in the public sector is not treated as a secondary value”.
It is worth remembering that a group of in court against the reinstatement decision.
