The financial guidance effort, which is being held in the city of São Paulo, offers a chance for those who wish to regularize their financial issues. This event ends this Saturday (30) and is aimed at renegotiating credit cards, special checks, payroll loans and other types of credit acquired from banks and financial institutions. Debts eligible for negotiation are those that are in arrears, do not have assets pledged as collateral and have not yet expired.
Negotiations can be done remotely, through banks’ digital channels and the platform Consumidor.gov.br. To participate, the consumer must have a silver or gold account. Furthermore, there is the possibility of carrying out negotiations in person at participating Procons until Friday, via Serasa via the website, app or at Post Office branches. This joint effort is an initiative by (Febraban), in partnership with , the National Consumer Secretariat and Procons across the country, involving more than 160 financial institutions and partner entities.
The event also has the participation of , which is promoting Feirão Limpa Nome. During the joint effort, participating banks offer special conditions to consumers, such as installments, discounts on the value of the debt or reduction in interest rates, according to their credit policies.
