The good news is that you can prepare such oxymel at home. You need the following ingredients for this:
- ¼ cup of liquid honey
- Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
- 2 lemons
- 5-6 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon of grated turmeric
- Freshly grated ginger
- Optional: other spices and herbs according to your preferences
Preparation method:
Start preparations by sterilizing the glass jar. Place scalded lemon cut into pieces, cloves, grated ginger, turmeric and cinnamon sticks in it. Pour vinegar over everything so that it reaches the top of the jar. Cover the jar with a clean kitchen towel and tie it with a rubber band to let air in.
