The former mayor () reported to her allies that she had not received any phone calls or messages from () since their defeat in the election for Mayor of São Paulo, a month ago.
To people close to her, Marta, who was the psolist’s deputy, expressed surprise at the fact that there had been no contact, even after both had been together in a dispute defined as “a tough and difficult battle”.

The PT member expected a later wave from the deputy and a word of thanks, as a kind of end to their campaign.
Marta returned to the PT at the beginning of this year to reinforce Boulos’s ticket, in an operation endorsed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The idea would be that she, with her career as a former mayor, would alleviate the candidate’s lack of administrative experience. According to reports, both built a good relationship and became closer in the dispute.
