Caixa Econômica Federal is holding contest 2801 of the Mega-Sena this Thursday (28), with a prize estimated at R$60 million.
The draw will be held at 8pm, at Espaço da Sorte, located on Avenida Paulista, and will be broadcast live on social media.
How to bet
To compete, players can register their games up to one hour before the draw, at 7pm, at any lottery outlet accredited by Caixa, via the bank’s website or app. A single ticket, with six numbers dialed, costs R$5.
For games made on the Caixa website, the minimum amount to bet on Mega-Sena is R$30, whether for a single bet or more.
To place a larger bet, with seven numbers, the price rises to R$31.50, according to Caixa.
Another option to reach the minimum price is to place seven simple bets, which together have the same value, R$31.50.
Bolão
One way to bet on Mega-Sena, in addition to individual games, is to form a group to choose the numbers, called a jackpot.
When registered in the system, the bet generates a quota receipt for each participant, who can redeem their share of the prize individually.
The prize pools have a minimum value of R$10 and each share must be at least R$5, making it possible to hold a prize pool of at least two and a maximum of 100 shares.
Players can also purchase shares in pools organized by lotteries. Just ask the attendant for the number of odds you want and keep the receipt to check the bet on the day of the draw.
In this case, an additional service fee of up to 35% of the quota value may be charged, at the lottery’s discretion.
Awards
The gross prize corresponds to 43.35% of the collection. Of this percentage:
- 35% is distributed among those who match the 6 numbers drawn (Sena);
- 19% among those who guessed 5 numbers correctly (Quina);
- 19% among those who guessed 4 numbers correctly (Quadra);
- 22% is accumulated and distributed to those who match the 6 numbers in the final 0 or 5 contests;
- 5% is accumulated for the first bracket — sena — of the last competition of the year ending 0 or 5 (Mega da Virada).
If there is no winner in any range, the value accumulates for the next contest, in the respective prize range.
Prizes expire 90 days after the draw date. After this period, the amounts are transferred to the National Treasury for investment in the Higher Education Student Financing Fund (Fies).
