New parents Michal Kovačič and Zuzana Kovačič Hanzelová are experiencing the greatest love. She was brought into their lives by their daughter Mila, who was born in mid-November. While the journalist gives her full attention to the little princess, the famous presenter spends hours and hours working on his own television project. The time spent with the little girl is all the more precious to him. “We have mornings like this now,” wrote the proud father to the pictures with the baby.
The beginnings of parenthood are often quite difficult, but the couple is not complaining yet. Zuzka also has time with Mila for the activities she was engaged in before giving birth. “The child is sleeping, the podcasts are listened to, the coffee is drunk. If it continues like this, I guess I will return to the ZKH newsletter as well” writes,” assessed Kovačič Hanzelová.
Followers on Instagram were very curious as to why she decided to give birth to her daughter in the Czech Republic. “I personally know much more about Slovak obstetrics than I would like. Several doctors from Bratislava maternity hospitals are in some bizarre conflicts with me – for example, also for the fact that they themselves published a photo of childbirth, in which the woman’s legs are tied to a goat, and they brag about it on Instagram, and I pointed it out,” explained Zuzana.
She also shared the criteria she had. “In the Czech Republic, I was looking for a dignified and respectful approach and birth based on scientific knowledge – without routine incisions, unnecessarily indicated caesarean sections and other problems that Slovak obstetrics has. But mainly the respect of the staff. Human approach. There is no need for new buildings for that,” she added.
She considers the decision to give birth to our neighbors to be the best thing in life. “I absolutely understand that not everyone has such an opportunity, not everyone decides to go on that journey. I consider myself a privileged woman and I promise you that, just like before, I will constantly ask competent people questions about how they want to improve Slovak obstetrics for Slovak women. We also have many doctors and nurses who do a great job and work miracles in a terrible system. Thanks for that,” she said.
