Kansas City Chiefs quarterback dominates official merchandise rankings, including collectibles and jerseys
Patrick Mahomes, quarterback of the , led the NFL’s product sales rankings. The list, released by the NFLPA, includes sales of player merchandise between March 1 and August 31, 2024, in physical stores and online. The research used data from more than 80 NFLPA licensees. Ice cream a (PDF – 189 kB)
Mahomes excelled in sales of licensed products such as Funko Pop vinyl collectibles and Foco bobbleheads. Other players, such as CJ Stroud (Houston Texans), Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles), Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears) and Aidan Hutchinson (Detroit Lions), also had good jersey sales.

Patrick Mahomes ranks 36th on the SportsPro Media of the 50 most marketable athletes of 2024. He is the 2nd highest ranked NFL player, behind his teammate Travis Kelce, who is ranked 12th. Kelce is ranked 10th on the NFLPA list.
In addition to playing, Mahomes participates in sports initiatives, such as efforts to bring a WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association) franchise to Kansas City. The Chiefs, under his leadership, are preparing to face the Las Vegas Raiders in the special Black Friday game next Friday (29.Nov.2024).
