Motorcyclist Mauriane Moura da Silva, 31 years old, was seriously injured after a collision between a car and a motorcycle late this Wednesday afternoon (27), at the intersection of Travessa Manaus and Rua Botafogo, in the Paz neighborhood, in White River.

According to information from witnesses, Mauriane was traveling towards Centro-Bairro along Travessa Manaus on a blue Titan model motorcycle with license plate QLV-8C75, when she was surprised by a Gol model car, white in color and license plate NAE-3I92. The vehicle was leaving Rua Botafogo and entering Travessa Manaus, at which point the head-on collision occurred.

With the impact, the woman was thrown against the pillar of a residence gate, suffering an open fracture in her left leg and a closed fracture in her left arm. After the accident, the driver remained at the scene.
People helped the victim and called the police and Samu. The Mobile Emergency Care Service sent a basic support ambulance to provide initial assistance. After being treated and stabilized, Mauriane was taken to the emergency room in Rio Branco, in a stable state of health.

The police isolated the area for forensic work. After the usual procedures, the vehicles were released.
