The Christmas market in Wrocław 2024 starts on Friday, November 29 and will last until January 7, 2025. We will be able to go on a journey through stalls selling mulled wine, Christmas handicrafts and amazing delicacies almost every day from 10:00 to 21:00. If we plan to visit the fair in Wrocław during the holidays, we must remember that on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day it will be closed (just like on January 1), and on the second day of Christmas – it will be open from 13. The stalls stretch along the southern, eastern, northern and western frontages of the Wrocław Market Square, as well as along Świdnicka, Oławska and Plac Solny streets.

Those who get hungry during the Christmas fun and games can try, among others: Alsatian flammkuchen flatbreads, Georgian cuisine, Dutch and Italian cheeses, Spanish churros, Podlasie cold meats, Lower Silesian honey, Turkish baklava, as well as fairy-tale “Wrocław tenement houses” in the form of gingerbread, which can be found in the stylish wooden Mill. There is also chocolate-covered fruit, dried fruit, dried fruit, halva, traditional and bubble waffles, Hungarian cakes, Christmas pralines, and chocolate gingerbread. In the wooden houses you will also find specialties of Polish cuisine: shashliks, pork knuckles, bigos, a piece of bread, gray dumplings, potatoes with herring, dumplings, stuffed cabbage, and sour cabbage soup. There will also be grilled dishes, highlanders’ oscypek cheese with cranberries, baked chestnuts, traditional Polish and Lithuanian cold cuts, Hungarian langos with stuffing, traditional kolaches, Slovak strudels, Lower Silesian honey, and smoked fish.
