Atlético-MG and Botafogo face off this Saturday (11/30), at 5pm (Brasília time), in the final of the Copa Libertadores da América. The expectation is for more than 70 thousand fans in the stands of the Monumental de Núñez stadium, in Buenos Aires.

For Fogão, the unprecedented Libertadores title is worth it. Galo is fighting for its second title – the last title was in 2013.

Atlético-MG x Botafogo: who has the biggest crowd?

Two recent surveys on crowd sizes do not present a consensus on which is the largest between Atlético-MG and Botafogo.

In Datafolha, released this November, Atlético-MG and Botafogo appear tied with 2% of fans.

In August, research by the Atlas/Intel Institute showed Galo with 4%, and Glorioso with 2.9%. Flamengo leads both polls.

The survey interviewed 2,004 people over the age of 16 between November 5th and 7th, in 113 Brazilian municipalities.

The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus.

Ranking of the biggest fans in Brazil – according to the Atlas/Intel Institute (2024)

The survey used a digital random method – interviewees were questioned while browsing the internet. In total, 7,374 people were interviewed (sampling rate) in the period from August 1 to 5, 2024.
