Natalya, Ukhin’s wife, was away, so he called his neighbor and said he was dying
A 55-year-old diabetic man died after being attacked by his own cat in Russia last Friday (22).
Dmitry Ukhin bled to death after being scratched on the leg by the feline, according to the Daily Mail newspaper. He suffered from diabetes and poor blood clotting.
Natalya, Ukhin’s wife, was away, so he called his neighbor and said he was dying. He was unable to stop the bleeding and called the doctors.
To the local press, a police source said that a man called to “report that his friend was bleeding from his leg due to a ruptured vein”. “The doctors who arrived only confirmed the death of the man, about which the police received a telephone message.”
According to the neighbor who provided first aid, the medical team took a long time to arrive. His version was confirmed by Ukhin’s wife. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed by forensic experts.
Natalya also stated that the cat, named Styopka, liked to walk alone, was gentle and harmless. It is not yet known what will happen to her.
